Tova Turkel, founder of A Considered Curiosity

About Tova Turkel

I am a strategist, a stylist, and the founder of A Considered Curiosity, a London-based luxury brand and retailer consultancy.

My career in London began in luxury PR in 2006 before moving into healthcare and government in 2009, where I spent 17 years advising ministers, shaping national strategy, and leading complex, people-centred transformation at scale across the Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England, where I served as Head of Strategy.

Those years were spent in rooms with senior directors where surface does not survive scrutiny, where evidence and rigour are the entry requirement, where demonstrable value is revered, and where the ability to translate ambiguous, systemic problems into clear discernible action is what actually moves things.

My career has always been an intrinsic part of my identity. And since I was a child, my passion and curiosity for fashion, style and culture has continuously grown. It has always been intrinsic to the person I am and has helped me move through the phases of my life and career with authority, confidence and dynamism.

Healthcare and fashion are far more connected than assumed on the surface. The most progressive framework in modern healthcare understands a person through three dimensions simultaneously: the physical, the psychological, and the social. Treat any one in isolation and you miss them.

That is exactly how I understand style, and why I developed The Considered Method: reimagined in styling as Context, Emotion and Body. Clothes are not singular items, they're a system sitting at the intersection of the three. 17 years of whole-system thinking, designed for the people it serves, translated for the luxury fashion industry.

I am now bringing that rigour, methodology, and human-centred design, coupled with my developed taste and sense of style, through A Considered Curiosity, to help clients, both discerning individuals, and luxury brands and retailers, deepen their identities and transform their experiences.

Taste is cultivated through curiosity, through culture, through the willingness to sit with complexity. That is where the most considered identities and experiences are built.
